Roles
Who can buy, back, record, settle, challenge, and change parameters.
| Role | What they do | What they cannot do |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer | Hold the token, pay a premium, receive USDG if the drop is proven | Challenge their own payout. Buy on a market they deployed or underwrite as the excluded insider |
| Underwriter | Deposit USDG into one cell, earn premiums, withdraw unlocked capital | Get paid on a drop milder than the cell they chose |
| Recorder | Call record or recordPool. The keeper is one recorder | A special permission. Recording is open to anyone |
| Settler | Call settle | The contract does not settle itself. The shipped keeper does not call settle |
| Challenger | A backing LP rechecks a pending payout | The buyer. Anyone with no shares in a backing cell |
| Guardian | Update protocol parameters | Decide a price. Move LP funds. Treat two wallets as one person |
| Pool | The Uniswap v4 pool Paraape reads | Custody. Paraape does not deposit into the pool |
The token deployer and the launchpad creator stored at createMarket are excluded from buying. Passing the zero address for both, which the app does when it does not know a creator, stores the zero address. The zero address is not a buyer.
